Looking for a summer camp that empowers young women? Apply for Camp Ignite and immerse yourself in a transformative experience led by women firefighters, covering essential skills like firefighting, first aid, and wellness. The Morrisville Fire Department, in partnership with Cary and Apex Fire Departments, hosts a 5-day summer camp that provides girls ages 14-18 an immersive experience of what a career in public safety would be like. They will participate in daily firefighting related exercises and training that encourage self-confidence, knowledge, and leadership skills. Camp runs from June 24-28, 8:00am to 4:30pm daily.
