NOTICE OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY. NOTICE OF SALE OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY IN THE POSESSION OF THE MORRISVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT TOWN OF MORRISVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA
Notice is hereby given that the Morrisville North Carolina Police Department has in its possession various unclaimed property to include but not limited to small appliances, household items, clothing, computer equipment, jewelry, and other miscellaneous unclaimed property that has been held for more than sixty (60) days and other properties that have been held for more than one hundred eighty (180) days.
Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 15, Sections 11-16, any person who may have claim or interest in this property must report those claims to the Morrisville Police Department within thirty (30) days of this notice and no later than July 28, 2022. All unclaimed property will be sold at public auction or otherwise disposed of after July 28, 2022.
Additionally, in accordance with General Statue 15-12 (b), the Morrisville Police Department will donate unclaimed bicycles that have been in the Department’s possession for a period of sixty (60) days to a non-profit charitable organization exempt under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code on Sept. 3, 1999. Anyone having a claim on these bicycles should contact the Morrisville Police Department prior to July 28, 2022.
