You are in invited to join the Heritage India Association of North Carolina (HIANC) for a celebration of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., at Church Street Park (5800 Cricket Pitch Way). The celebration will include guest speakers and an unveiling of a Gandhi statue as part of the festivities. Parking will be available on site. In collaboration with HIANC, the Town of Morrisville is honored to announce that a statue of Mahatma Gandhi has been permanently relocated from Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh to Church Street Park in Morrisville.
