The Public Safety Committee (PSAC) examines ideas and reports on methods and concepts to protect and improve citizens' health, safety, and welfare and the peace and dignity of the Town. The PSAC recommends policies in the form of draft resolutions and ordinances for consideration by the Town Council. The PSAC reviews and comments on budget items related to public safety. The PSAC also plans and staffs exhibits and events to promote and encourage public safety awareness, in addition to creating educational articles to be published in local news media and the Town’s newsletter.
