Please find here a list of some of the forms and publications you will need to submit a building permit or to complete approved building work. Please call the Inspections Department at 919-463-6190 with any questions.

Owner Affidavit - To be filled out if a property owner is doing all work and the cost of construction is under $40,000.
Owner Affidavit - To be filled out and sent to the N.C. License Board of General Contractors, if the property owner is doing the work and the cost of construction is over $40,000.
Fee Schedule - To print and view a fee schedule.
Change of Contractor Form - If you need to make a change to an existing issued permit application, you will need to submit this form.
Contractor Signatures - To verify the licensed contractor on permit.
Water, Sewer and Irrigation Application - To print and view an application.
Landscape Water Budget Calculations - Water calculations for use of irrigation system.
Conditional Power / Mechanical Application - If you would like power or gas prior to completion of construction.
Temporary Certificate of Occupancy Application - If you are requesting a temporary occupancy, you will need submit this form on your online portal account.
Stocking Request - To make a request to start stocking supplies and furniture prior to being issued a certificate of occupancy.
Appendix B - To be submitted with commercial permits.
Appendix D - Affidavit of Workers' Compensations coverage.
Appendix G - Form for a professional design inspection.
