In order to maintain a high level of safety in Morrisville, a parking ticket will be issued to any person found in violation of the Town's parking ordinance. While this ticket is not an official citation, failure to pay the specified fine by the due date will result in late fees and potential court action.
The following violations may result in a civil penalty of $15-$100:
- Parking over marked lines (double parking)
- Parking on a sidewalk
- Parking within 25 feet of an intersection
- Parking in a crosswalk
- Ignoring a "No Parking This Side of Street" sign
- Parking in a designated "No Parking" zone
- Parking in a bicycle lane marked "No Parking"
- Blocking a driveway
- Parking within 15 feet of a fire hydrant
- Parking in a fire lane
- Parking in a handicap parking zone without the appropriate permit
- Parking on the left side of a curb

Appeals
If you received a parking ticket and wish to appeal your violation, you must submit the appeals form to the Police Department within 10 business days of the ticket being issued.

All appeals will be adjudicated by members of the Public Safety Committee during its regular session.
