Food Waste Pilot - Community Collections

Access-controlled community collections at the following Town of Morrisville parks will begin late November of 2024 at the following locations, currently open 24/7:

Morrisville Community Park - 1520 Morrisville Parkway

Northwest Park - 998 Parkside Valley Drive

Church Street Park  Southern Lot -905 Church Street

To access these free-standing carts:

1. Download the CompostNow app.

2. Create an account to 'unlock' the stations near you.

3. Answer a few questions to ensure you understand what items are compostable. Contamination is real and we need your help to create high-quality compost!

4. Order your Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI)-certified compostable bags to collect your food waste in and drop directly into bin (NO PLASTIC SHOPPING BAGS ARE ALLOWED). Amazon link.

5. Help divert waste from our landfills which are rapidly reaching capacity AND contribute to compost that will be used in our very own gardens in Town!
